JCMwave offers a complete suite of packages for many simulation tasks in optics and microwave technologies. It consists of three main modules covering all main simulation challenges plus a number of specialized modules for specific tasks. Depending on the simulation target, these modules can be obtained via predefined packages or can be combined individually.
|Main Modules||Basic engines to solve time-harmonic Maxwell's equations for the application areas time-harmonic scattering (JCMharmony), mode computation for waveguides (JCMmode) and computation of resonances (JCMresonance).|
|Supplemental Modules||These are required for many specialized tasks from computation in cylindric coordinates (JCMcylindrical) over the computation of aerial images (JCMaerial) to the setup of large optimization environments (JCMderivatives).|
|Tools||All simulation tasks, from simple studies to complex optimizations can be controlled via JCMcontrol providing a comfortable file handling and automatic consistency check. Geometry descriptions of the problems are done in JCMgeo allowing very flexible parameterization even for complicated geometries and subsequent automatic triangulation. JCMview is a comfortable visualization tool.|
